Sometimes I need to step back from the primary paintings that I work on and create pieces that can be simple and light hearted. Most of these paintings are created in my sketchbooks, so they are rather small and delicate. Part of the charm that is offered by this group is that they are so small, but at the same time they can hold their own integrity. These paintings are meant to be enjoyed for what they are, entertaining and cheerful.
